ROLE ON CAMPUS
As an entirely student-run club, College for Cambodia has an active role on campus. CFC holds meetings on a weekly basis, regularly organizes fundraisers, and strives to promote and introduce Cambodian culture to Phillips Academy Andover's students.
Club Meetings
College for Cambodia holds weekly club meetings at Phillips Academy Andover. We always strive to plan and create fun and valuable club meeting sessions by having board meetings about twice a week.
Over the past years, we have held various club meeting sessions. In the beginning of the year, club members are familiarized with CFC through introductory meetings about the club and Cambodia. Following them are meetings geared toward planning fundraising events, such as making dumplings for the dumpling fundraiser, cooking Cambodian food, creating bubble tea... etc. Some other club meetings we have held involved creating posters for the members' pen-pals, playing Cambodian games, and watching Cambodian movies.

Fundraisers
College for Cambodia plans and hosts various fundraisers throughout the academic year at Phillips Academy Andover. Each term, there are usually a single, large-scaled fundraiser and other smaller-scaled fundraisers.
During the Fall term, our biggest tradition is the Parents' Weekend bake sale fundraiser. In addition to that, we hold multiple other fundraisers such as participating in Andover's annual iFest (International Festival) by selling Cambodian cuisine.
In the Winter, we hold our traditional dumpling fundraisers. Dumplings are hand-made during club meetings with the support from our faculty advisor, who is a Chinese instructor at Andover.
In the Spring term, we hold multiple bubble-tea fundraisers, which is also hand-made during club meetings or sessions where members can sign-up to help. Bubble tea is sold during Andover's lunch sessions to students and faculty. We also participate in Andover's annual spring 'Celebrasian' festival by selling Cambodian cuisine.
We are planning on holding more creative fundraisers this coming school year, such as selling Cambodian traditional bracelets that can be made during our club meetings. We constantly strive to devise more fundraising plans.
